The investment plan concerns the construction and operation of an integrated, state-of-the-art logistics and intermodal transport facility (tri-modal: road–sea–rail) in the area of Aspropyrgos, in Western Attica.

The intervention area covers 291 stremmas (approximately 291,000 m²) and is located close to the Aspropyrgos Refinery Industrial Area, at the 17th km of the Athens–Corinth National Road. The site is divided by the Athens–Corinth National Road into two sections: Section A (238 stremmas) and Section B, the coastal section (53 stremmas). The two sections will be connected by an elevated link (bridge) that will be constructed.

The site has frontage to the Elefsina Gulf, where a ship docking pier will be constructed, along with the associated port works and the necessary infrastructure for the loading and unloading of containers by sea. Additionally, to the north, the site borders the Thriassio–Neo Ikonio railway line, which is part of the national railway network, enabling the direct transport of containers to European countries.

The project has an estimated budget of €244.2 million and is expected to create 1,238 new jobs during its operational phase (900 positions related to infrastructure operations and 338 positions for the operation of the port pier).

The complex will consist of the following main components:

• Warehouse Buildings K1 and K2
• Production Building K3
• Elevated connection (bridge)
• Parking areas for passenger vehicles and truck parking spaces
• Landscaping / planting areas
• Forklift and battery recharging area
• Photovoltaic power station
• Restaurants
• Office buildings
